SCC 103 Week 5 Discussion: Discussion Board 5
Your final project is to be done using an application of your choice – Microsoft Word, PowerPoint or Excel. For THIS final discussion, choose another application that you will NOT be using for your final project and create a document using that application that lists your favorite recipe and directions on how to create it. Format the document properly based on the application that you’re using.
For example, If you decide that for your final project that you would like to use Microsoft PowerPoint, then for this discussion, use Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel to list your favorite recipe, its ingredients, and the directions on how to create it. Make sure to apply 3-4 “new” features to the document that you did not use in a previous week. When submitting to the discussion, state what those features are that are applied to your document and any difficulties you had with creating the document within the post along with an attachment of your file.
Respond to two of your peers by asking them substantive questions or offering your perspective on their post. Your follow up posts should be at least 100 words and are due on day 7 of week 5.
Discussions play an integral role in monitoring your course participation throughout the term. You should check back to the weekly discussions multiple times throughout the week to engage in the discussion with your professor and peers. Participation is only counted during the week in which this discussion is assigned. Be sure to appropriately cite any sources you use to support your responses with standard APA citations. Answer the prompt question(s) thoroughly, using at least 150-200 words, and respond to as many of your peers as possible. Note that responses to 2 of your peers are required for full credit. Be sure to answer any additional questions asked by your professor in the discussion threads. Your initial post is due by Day 3 of the current week, and follow up posts to your peers are due on Day 7!
