Create a vignette of a culturally diverse family and complete one of the following options. The total time allotted for each option is 60 minutes.

Note: Each option must be selected by at least one Learning Team.

Option 1: Structural Therapy

Prepare a 15- to 20-minute role-play with the culturally diverse family using structural therapy.

• Use two to three structural therapy interventions described in your textbook.
• Illustrate how to work with subsystems and double binds.
• Create a 15- to 20-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation describing how a structural therapist would conceptualize this case.
• Describe the interventions used in the role-play.
• Allow time for class discussion.

Option 2: Strategic Therapy

Prepare a 15- to 20-minute role-play with the culturally diverse family using strategic therapy.

• Use two to three strategic therapy interventions described in your textbook.
• Illustrate how to work with subsystems and double binds.
• Create a 15- to 20-slide Microsoft^® PowerPoint^® presentation describing how a strategic therapist would conceptualize this case.
• Describe the interventions used in the role-play. Include at least one use of the paradox interventions.
• Allow time for class discussion.
