Identify evidence-based treatment models related to treating children or adolescents with developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, and special concerns.

Select at least 2 evidence-based treatments from each category:

• Developmental disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
• Learning disabilities, like dyslexia or a reading disorder
• Special concerns, such as sexual abuse, domestic violence, bereavement, chemical dependency, or suicidal behavior

Prepare a 15- to- 25-slide Microsoft^® PowerPoint^® presentation lasting at least 15 minutes and no longer than 30 minutes. Your presentation should describe the treatment models and why they are an effective way to treat clients with these specific disabilities.

Include the following in your presentation:

• A description of the evidenced-based treatment models
• Special concerns to be aware of in using these models with specific client types
• Criteria of the target population model it is designed to treat
• Key concepts of the treatment model
• Interventions used in the model
• The importance of communication to parents and/or family members of client posing the disability

Include at least 10 scholarly references.

Speaker notes must be included.

Develop a one-page handout that summarizes the information.
