You have been given the opportunity to present at a local parenting class that offers guidance and support to low-income mothers.

Prepare an 8- to 10-slide Microsoft^® PowerPoint^® presentation 7-10 minutes long that examines the influence of culture, environmental stressors, and parenting practices on child development, while still keeping in mind the audience in which you will be presenting.

Include the following in your presentation:

• The effect of environmental stressors on a child’s health and well-being
• The influence of cultural differences in parenting on a child’s development
• A comparison between the psychosocial stages of development and the stages of cognitive development within children
• Factors contributing to attachment concerns during child development and how these problematic attachment styles are behaviorally manifested.

Speaker notes must be included in the submission.

Create a reference handout for the low-income mothers that will attend your parenting presentation, summarizing key points of your presentation.

Include the following in your reference handout:

• Key points of your parenting presentation
• How to use the information presented in the presentation
