For this assignment, follow these easy steps:
FIRST, Write a rough draft for your paper. Remember, this should be as close as you can get to a full draft of the essay, even if it’s not a polished version of the essay, or a tutor won’t be able to give you valuable advice.
SECOND, Submit that draft to Smarthinking BEFORE the Step 3 due date so you get your paper back in time to do that assignment. There’s a link to Smarthinking submissions in this week’s module.
Aim to send the essay to Smarthinking by Day 4 of the school week. This is necessary because Smarthinking requires 48 hours to respond, so you’ll need that much time to receive your tutor’s report back and upload it to this assignment portal before Day 7 of the week.
Note: When Smarthinking asks you “Provide your assignment description (including expected length and documentation style if applicable) and any special instructions for your tutor,” paste the text from here into that box.
LAST, After you receive the results, save them to your computer and upload that report here by Day 7.
NOTE: Smarthinking responses occasionally go into your spam folder. Remember to check all email folders so you do not miss their feedback. You can also find your feedback by logging back into Smarthinking and clicking the option to “Review My Sessions and Submissions.”

Discussions play an integral role in monitoring your course participation throughout the term. You should check back to the weekly discussions multiple times throughout the week to engage in the discussion with your professor and peers. Participation is only counted during the week in which this discussion is assigned. Be sure to appropriately cite any sources you use to support your responses with standard APA citations. Answer the prompt question(s) thoroughly, using at least 150-200 words, and respond to as many of your peers as possible. Note that responses to 2 of your peers are required for full credit. Be sure to answer any additional questions asked by your professor in the discussion threads. Your initial post is due by Day 3 of the current week, and follow up posts to your peers are due on Day 7!
