• Research an industry of your choice (e.g., Financial Services, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Transportation, etc.) and review the five environmental factors of a business covered in the course textbook Understanding Business (Chapter 1, Figure 1.3) to complete this assignment.

  Create a 6- to 8- slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation with speaker notes in which you:

  ·      Summarize the industry (sub-sectors, companies, etc.)

  ·      Describe the impact two of the five environmental factor have on businesses in that industry (see Figure 1.3).

  ·      Describe at least two major changes that have been or are currently occurring in that industry.

  ·      Identify business strategies that could be used to capitalize on the changes you identified in your research.

  Important note: When developing your presentation, summarize your main ideas in bullet points only. Avoid including full sentences and paragraphs within your slides. Use speaker notes to support and expand on those ideas. Every slide requires speaker notes, except the title and reference slides.
