Analysis Essay

Instructions

For your analysis essay, you will write a minimum 5-6 page sustained analysis based off the thesis you decided upon for your annotated bibliography. Your introduction needs to include all of the following:

• An attention grabber that leads into your thesis
• A thesis statement that tells your reader what your essay intends to analyze/argue Important information regarding the movie under analysis:
• title of the film, director of the film,
• film release date
• any important awards won or nominated for,
• main stars Why are we discussing this film?
• Why is it important?

This introduction is a part of the student example document as well. You will use only 5 outside sources in your analysis essay, and 3 of those 5 sources need to come from peer-reviewed academic journals. Your essay needs to be formatted in full MLA formatting.
